Have you heard of Tamanu Oil - the Pacific Green Gold?

Tamanu Nut Tree is native to the South Pacific Islands. Indigenous Polynesian have been using Tamanu Oil for skincare and healing for centuries. The oil is extracted by pressing the kernels of the Tamanu Nut Tree. It is dark green and has an intense earthy and nutty scent.

The oil is also known as the Green Gold which is related to its green colour and amazing skincare properties. Tamanu Oil has been widely used by the Polynesian to soothe and help many skin conditions like scrapes, cuts, burns, blisters, scars, dry irritated skin, acne, eczema or psoriasis.

Let's look closer at amazing properties of this oil and the list of them is almost endless.

With so many amazing properties Tamanu Oil is always my first choice whenever I need to prepare a blend of oils for any irritation of the skin like redness, itchiness, rash, uncomfortable dryness and many more. But it works perfectly on its own too.

I included Tamanu Oil in Soothing Oil for Hands, Feet and Nails. The oil is designed to help with any inflammatory conditions of the hands, feet and nails so it was obvious that Tamanu oil could not be missed out.
